Culture of Brisbane

Brisbane is a city of activities and the cultural hub of Australia. You could catch a show by the Queensland Theatre Company, Queensland Ballet, Queensland Orchestra or Opera Queensland. The inner suburbs in Brisbane are where most of the action is. The restaurant and cafe scene in Brisbane has blossomed in recent years and you are sure to find that there is no shortage of great places to eat. There are many outdoor eateries due to the advantageously pleasant climate. A little away from the main city there are a number of restaurants in Paddington, Fortitude Valley and New Farm, on the South Bank and in the West End.
